It’s been awhile…
Hello dear readers (IYKYK), it’s been a long time since I posted here. Almost two years to be exact. With our daughter entering a new chapter with the start of preschool today, it feels as though I'm turning a page as well. Today I have had aaaaall the feels as you'll see in one of the photos below. I think my "ugly cry" reached a 9.5 on a 10 point scale. haha!
I've always loved writing but since creating this site, a lot has changed and it wasn't really a priority. In fact, it hasn't even been on my radar in quite some time. I'm not sure what the future holds with this site, except for information about my offerings, but I'm willing to find out. Are you with me?
As with most, I've been through a roller coaster of emotions the past few years. We have had both extreme highs and lows but have settled in this really beautiful space where I feel like the possibilities are endless. I'm really enjoying this age for our daughter, my husband and I are getting more time to be "just us" again, I feel really inspired by my work, I'm prioritizing my physical, mental and spiritual health, I've cultivated a really great group of friends and I'm embracing the art of homemaking more so than before. Don't get me wrong, things aren't rainbows and sunshine all the time. I'm actually at this very moment going through some pretty heartbreaking things with a family member which has gently forced me into healing mode. Right now, I'm just trying to do that and remind myself that I can only do my best on any given day and have to trust that the rest will fall into place.
This time of year has always been a favorite of mine even though I really love summer. There's something equally as magical about fall, don't you think? I'm currently sitting next to a delightful fall candle and it really helps me to picture all the fun activities we can enjoy together as a family. What are some of your favorites?

As I said previously, I don't know exactly which direction I will take this blog but I am certainly open to universal guidance and input from my readers. Feel free to comment or send me a message on social with things you'd like to see, read or learn about!
Cheers to a new season and a new chapter!
XOXO,
Shoog
