Baby Let’s Cruise
We are back home from another fabulous cruise! This one was the annual Elvis Birthday Cruise put on by Sherry Management of ElvisFests.com. I always feel so lucky to be able to travel for work (or rather my husband’s work) but I also feel blessed to have a home that I miss. It was soooo nice to sleep in our own bed last night, cuddling our furry babies. We did have a fabulous time, though! I want to reflect back to cruising the seas and share our experiences with my readers. DAY 1 - Grand Cayman Islands
We spent the day with our usual companions, Ben and RiRi! This stop was kind of quick and a bit crowded but really beautiful. Us gals chatted on the beach whilst the fellas used their fancy new snorel masks that they wach received for Christmas! We had a great lunch then headed back to the boat where we napped like champs! Haha
Day 2 - Costa Maya, Mexico
This was our favorite! We had a full day and found a really gorgeous spot on the beach to relax, visit, snorkel, eat and be entertained. We started the day off by catching a wrestling match at the port then we took a tram to the downtown area and found the perfect place to hang. The boys snorkeled some more while Ri was able to relax and I could dig into my new book, “The Universe Has Your Back,” by Gabby Bernstein. Another highlight was meeting a furry friend to share my chicken tacos with! Lol Something special happened as well which I’ll share a bit later...

(We skipped the third port in Cozumel and rested instead. Dean wasn’t feeling well and we were both pretty pooped. It was nice to just chill in the room and order room service!)
The reason for the cruise: Dean’s performances! He wowed the crowd each and every time and even debuted a new outfit. There was an acoustic show with Dwight Icenhower, another show with Ben Thompson as well as his own sets doing a tribute the Elvis in the 50's, Movies and '68 Comeback Special.
DZ meet and greet! These are just some of the people who signed up for the cruise using our code. To thank them for being our guests, we had a little gathering with snacks, photos and a private acoustic session. Next year, we have even more things planned so if you want to join the cruise group, be sure to use our code (or just Dean’s name) when you sign up so you can hang with us! This was a ton of fun and I really enjoyed getting to know more of my hubby's fans!
As I said before, something special happened on the cruise. Whilst in Costa Maya, Ben asked Dean to be his best man and he gladly accepted! I will be a bridesmaid for Rianne, which I'm beyond excited to do. We adore this couple and are so grateful to get to explore the world with them. Standing next to the future Mr and Mrs Thompson on their wedding day will be an absolute honor! (oh, and on this night we had the most delicious dinner and then went dancing! so fun!!!)
